Futurama "Cold Warriors" Episode Mimics MANHATTAN TRANSFER

The "Cold Warriors" episode of Futurama, which aired 25 August 2011, shows some scenes that resemble scenes in John E. Stith's 1993 novel Manhattan Transfer.

In the Futurama episode, the city is being cut loose for destruction because the common cold virus is still active in Manhattan.
